Kids love a sense of adventure, and that's what the Acid 240 Disc Allroad offers. Fully equipped with everything from clip-on mudguards to a kickstand and lights, they'll love its go-anywhere potential and you'll love the fact that they're riding a bike that's built with safety in mind. Powerful disc brakes with levers designed for small hands offer safe stopping even in wet weather, too. And, with 8 speed gears and a suspension fork for added comfort and control, it's everything your young cyclist needs to stay safe and have fun.
Frame description
Built from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes as our adult bikes, the Acid 240 Disc Allroad's frame is every bit as tough as a full-size mountain bike but with the right weight and proportions for a child, and with disc mounts for the added reassurance of safe all-weather braking. A full range of accessories – including mudguards, lighting system and kickstand – means it's fully equipped for any adventure. The handling is designed to be both fun and confidence-inspiring, and the gear hanger is easily replaceable so that a knock or crash needn't result in an expensive repair.
Find your size!
Enter your height and inseam below and click on 'Calculate my frame size' to see which size you need. You measure your inseam as follows:
1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
